THE 2005 INTERVIEW IS IN THE PRESS ROOM

Nationality?
Forget flags!

Where do you live?
Abbey Road.

Age?
Older than you. Younger than the Gods.

Sex?
Perpetual.

Love?
Love is Desire on Fire.

Money?
Everybody's second choice.

Favourite game?
Life's too much fun and leaves no time for games. I do take time out to keep fit though. Always have, always will.

Words most commonly used to describe you?
Everyone's given up.

Where have you spent the most time abroad?
The Med. The glam resorts - not El Crapola Touristico.

Best erotic images you have done?
Sleepless Beauty 2004, Silver Siren, 2004, Scarlet Blues, 1997, Vanity Blue 1989, Streetwalker Blues 1984.

Who were the models?
The world's best.

Where did you get your hat?
I rarely wear them these days. That was the Elliott Mark Three.

Lucky number?
One, obviously.

What's your starsign?
Cyrozenith. It's the sign that only believes in star signs when there's a Pluto rising with the Moon in the seventh house. I hope the moon doesn't come into my house.

Favourite music?
Hard driving, kick-ass rock. My neighbours love me dearly.

Listening to now?
I can't stop playing "Nemo" by Nightwish. They haven't broken in the UK yet, but they will. It's symphonic metal. The combination of haunting lyrics, operatic female vocals, choir, orchestra and heavy metal is as fresh as anything I have heard. And it is perfectly paced. The video is fantastic as well. The album "Once" is astonishing. It's music of great stature. Rare. What is great about this music is that it brings forward the best of the past and combines it with the new. All great art is like that. The fundamental flaw of Modernism was that it rejected everything that went before. What kind of nonsense is that? By definition there must be more good old stuff than new. Do the math, dummy! And I also like "In The Shadows" by The Rasmus. Both bands are from Finland, coincidentally.
