LEFT: EL WITH THE MURAL BELOW : EL PAINTING
	EL PAINTS THE DARKSTUDIO MURAL Elliott painted a huge graphic mural of himself on the wall of his Darkstudio. He says he "Laughed all the way through it" ( ! ) The mural was 5 meters wide and 3 meters high. The studio was on the ground floor, boasted huge bay windows and faced the street. Often Elliott would wake of a morning and go into the studio only to find a crowd of people standing on the pavement staring in the window.
